Mix 106 San Jose is looking for part-time Promotions Assistants to work our station events. As a member of the Mix 106 Street Team you will represent our station at various events in the Bay Area including concerts, festivals, community events, client locations and more!
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to take direction, possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and enjoy working in a team environment that is dynamic and fast paced.
Responsibilities of this position may include the following:
- Represent the station to the best of their ability
- Attend local events and interact with listeners
- Assist and work with on air DJs
- Work as a team and bring a positive attitude to each event
- Immerse yourself in the commercial radio environment
- Drive station vehicle to and from event
- Work flexible hours and commit to working when scheduled
Requirements for this position include the following:
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Professional, friendly, personable, enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to self-manage as well as work with a close-knit team
- Must be available and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary
