California May Start Taxing Your Text Messages

Your phone bill may go up soon. California’s Public Utilities Commission is considering enacting a new text message tax. The new tax on text messages could cost Californians around $44 Million a year. Of course, not everyone is excited about the idea of being taxed for texting. Read more from ABC 7 in LA here.
