Breaking Bad is still one of the greatest shows of all time.
And it’s getting a sequel…
In the form of a movie.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, planning has already begun for the film in New Mexico.
And we actually know quite a bit.
We know the film may be called Greenbriar.
And that it may be focused on Jesse’s escape from his captors.
You know, the wild ride that was the finale of Breaking Bad.
While Aaron Paul is rumored to be returning…
There’s little else known about the cast.
Even Bryan Cranston doesn’t know.
Birth Movies Death quotes Cranston in an interview explaining:
“There’s a question of whether or not we’ll even see Walter White in this movie… This idea, from what I’m told, gets into … at least a couple of the characters that were not completed as far as their journey.”
It’s confirmed that Vince Gilligan (the series creator, scribe, and director) is returning to write the script, and is favored as the director.
We also know that filming is in pre-production.
We’ll just have to wait for the rest.
Maybe we can call Saul?
